Three Macros can help you understand your food.
But food is only one part of your life.
You are also going to have days when work drains you.
Days when money worries you.Days when someone disappoints you.Days when you feel lonely, overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply tired.
And you will have beautiful days too.
Days when you feel strong.Days when something finally works.Days when you laugh until your stomach hurts.Days when you look at your life and realize how much has changed.
Life moves between all of it. Some days you will have energy for everything. Other days, you may come home, eat something, take a shower, and decide that the day is over.
That is okay.
Not every difficult day needs to become a lesson.
Sometimes you are not unmotivated. You are tired.
Sometimes you do not need to push harder. You need to rest. Sometimes the thing you planned for today can wait until tomorrow.
You do not have to be productive every day to still be moving forward. And you do not have to have your entire life figured out before you start taking care of yourself.
You are going to change. Your priorities may change. Your relationships may change. Things you once believed may stop making sense to you. You may outgrow people, habits, goals, and even versions of yourself. That can be uncomfortable.
Keep learning anyway.
You are allowed to decide that something no longer works for you.You are allowed to protect your time. You are allowed to rest without explaining yourself. You are allowed to choose a different life than the one other people expected from you.
And on the days when you feel like you accomplished absolutely nothing? You were still here. You lived that day. Not every day has to prove something. Tomorrow will come. And when it does, you continue.
The same is true with food.
You do not need to punish yesterday. You do not need to start over. You simply continue.
One meal at a time.
One day at a time.
♥Take care.
